ABS SALUTES:
Nate Keher | Past Honorees

ABS salutes Nate Kehr, a warehouseman at ABS Indiana.
Chris Hurley, Indiana division manager, says, “Although Nate only joined ABS in January 2004, he is one of the best warehouse employees I’ve seen in my 11 years.
“He pulls orders with efficiency like I’ve never seen, loves the big orders, and the bigger the better.”
Warehouse manager, Rex Braddock, says, “Nate is thoroughly committed to his job. I’m always telling him to put his RF gun down and shut off his forklift at the end of the day. His handwriting is as near perfect as you can get and he grasps the RF system 100%.” Nate was one of the first warehousemen to use a laptop on his forklift, an advancement that’s further improved warehouse efficiency.
Chris goes on to say, “I don’t think I’ve seen Nate make an error yet.” He smiled then added, “If he did, it was small enough that I didn’t find out about it.”
Chris and Rex also report that Nate works extremely well with everyone he comes in contact with, from fellow co-workers to customers.
Last summer, Nate married his long-time girlfriend, Tomi, and the couple moved into a house down the street from Chris. “That makes it almost impossible for Nate to call in sick,” Chris jokes.
When he’s not hard at work, Nate enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and their two pets—a cocker spaniel and a pit bull.
