During 2006, we’re continuing to recognize ABS employees for their excellent service and accomplishments. This time around we’re saluting Danny Manzanares, warehouseman extraordinaire at ABS headquarters in California. Mark Scheerer, ABS California warehouse manager, says, “Danny can handle it all—overseas and domestic receiving, truck deliveries, UPS orders, whatever he’s asked to do.”

Nearly seven years of service

This year Danny will mark seven years of service at ABS. He says he appreciates everything that ABS offers him as an employee. “It’s like we’re a team,” he says. “Everybody works together and nobody has an ego. We all help each other. It makes work more fun and more rewarding.”

The “go-to” guy

Mark says, “Things get really busy around here, but Danny never loses his cool and he seldom, if ever, makes a mistake.

“He’ll never say no to a request and he’s the first one to volunteer for an assignment. He’s our ‘go-to’ guy.”

During his free time Danny enjoys dirt-bike riding and collecting football cards.
