Dual-view optical scanning delivers unparalleled accuracy

All of the fasteners on the ABS kitting line are scanned with dual-view optical technology. Our new system examines every fastener in mid-air, scanning every piece at 2,000 times per second, virtually creating a 3-D image of every fastener.

This assures that the system counts only whole products and not smaller pieces. Metal scrap and filings are clearly identified and not counted, enabling consistent accuracy, efficiency and quality.

A host of beneficial features

In addition to analyzing the shape, content and the size of each fastener prior to bagging, the ABS kitting line provides these beneficial features: infeed funnels, self-diagnostics, automated counters, collating conveyors, automatic error tracking, and easy-to-read touch-screen displays that ensure efficient operation.

The system also incorporates a high-speed thermal transfer printer that easily adjusts to variable line speeds. You’re assured of accurate, legible printing—and a customized message—on every bag.
